the year

felt like yesterday

when it was.

long.

too many

have came and gone.

have came and stayed.

yet many more will

go come this year.

a new year

heralds new hopes

and fortunes.

but.

most are just

being carried forward.

i'd better pen these down

coz

i wont remember them

come a few months time.

mostly

its just a sense of loss

this time

i feel trepidation.
